Still on paper? That works.

Your day, the way you already read it: a column for the bays, a column for drop-offs, a row for each hour.

Make Counterbell your calendar

Phone and walk-in bookings in two taps, days off, and a daily cap.

Keep your paper book

We hold a few spots a day for online bookings, and you copy them over.

Booking should take seconds.

Customers pick a service and a time, then leave a name and a phone number. No phone tag, no waiting for a call back.

Try the real booking page for a kind of shop:

No account to create
Customers book with a name and a phone number. That’s all.
No app to download
The page opens in any phone’s browser, from Google, Instagram or a text.
Works as your website
No website? This is one: next open times, services and prices, hours, a map, and answers to common questions.

Try it. This sample shop doesn’t book or send anything.

How it works

  1. We set it up with you.

About 15 minutes: your services, your hours, how many jobs you can take at once, and what books instantly.

  2. Customers book in a minute.

From Google, your site, Instagram or the QR card. No account, no app, no password: a name and a phone number.

  3. You stay in charge.

Instant jobs land in your calendar and the customer gets a confirmation. Requests wait for your OK, or you suggest another time.

You decide what books on its own.

Set it per service. Simple jobs take a real open time. Anything that needs a look first waits for your OK.

Every bay, every job, today. One screen.

Add phone and walk-in bookings in two taps, block days off, and set a daily cap. Online customers only see what’s really open.

Questions owners ask

Why not just a contact form?

A contact form sits in an inbox until someone calls back. Counterbell shows your real open times, so simple jobs book themselves, and bigger ones arrive as requests with the details and photos you need.

What if I don’t have a website?

You don’t need one. You get a shop page with your next open times, services, hours and map links. We add the link to your Google profile and give you a QR card for your counter.

Can I choose what’s bookable?

Yes. You set it per service: it books instantly, it comes in as a request for your OK, or it’s an estimate visit.

Where can customers book from?

Your Google profile, your website (a button, or a one-line snippet for your web person), your Instagram bio, the QR card on your counter, or a link you send them.

What does the customer need?

A name and a phone number. There’s no account, no app and no password.

Can I run it from my phone?

Yes. Add it to your home screen on iPhone or Android and it opens like an app. There’s no App Store app to install.

Do I have to keep two calendars?

No. Either Counterbell becomes your calendar and you add phone bookings in two taps, or you keep your paper book and we hold a few spots a day for online bookings.

Can I add phone and walk-in bookings?

Yes, in two taps. They take the same spots online customers see, so nothing gets double booked.

What if I need a day off?

Block days off and holidays, and customers see the next open day. Bookings already on that day are listed for you to review. Nothing is cancelled on its own.

I already use Tekmetric or Shopmonkey. Is this for me?

Probably not. Those shops can get booking from their own software. Counterbell is for shops on paper, a whiteboard, Google Calendar or older software.

Do texts come from my personal number?

No. Booking texts come from your shop’s own local number. Your existing phone number stays the same.

What about no-shows?

Customers get a confirmation and a reminder the day before, and you decide which jobs book without your approval.

What do customers get by email?

Every plan sends unlimited email confirmations and reminders. Texts are kept for the confirmation and the day-before reminder.

Can I text customers back and forth?

Two-way texting is coming with the Text plan. On Book, customers get their booking texts, and you call them the way you do now.

Is there a contract?

No. It’s month to month, with no setup fee and no commission. Your first 30 days are free, starting when your page goes live.

What does it cost?

Book is $149 a month in Canadian dollars. Text ($249) and Voice ($399) are coming soon.

How long does setup take?

About 15 minutes with you: your services, your hours, how many jobs you can take at once, and what books instantly.

When can I get it?

We’re setting up our first shops in Toronto now. Call or text to be one of them.

Do I need to be good with tech?

No. We set it all up with you. Day to day, you mostly tap Confirm.

Who builds Counterbell
